Cinder the fox was a tiny ninja. Tip-toe, tip-toe! He moved silently through the school library. While looking at a book about explorers, a sparkly map fell out. It showed the way to the Legendary Golden Crayon! Cinder’s amber eyes went wide. He felt so excited. He put on his dark blue ninja mask and decided to lead a grand mission.
“Follow me!” Cinder whispered to his friends. Tip-toe, tip-toe! A tall rabbit named Barnaby and a little bird named Pip joined the line. They crawled through the Jungle of Desks, dodging chairs like brave tigers. The map sparkled, pointing them toward the back of the room. Cinder felt like a real leader as his white-tipped tail swished with joy.
Soon, they reached the River of Rugs. The blue carpet looked like deep water. “Don’t fall in!” Cinder giggled. They hopped from one colorful rug to the next. Suddenly, they stopped. A very kind owl named Mrs. Hoot, the librarian, pointed her wing toward a giant bookshelf. The map was glowing bright gold now. The treasure was very close, but also very high.
The Golden Crayon was sitting in a box on the very top shelf. Cinder tried to jump, but he was too small. He felt a little bit sad. But then, he had a ninja idea! “Barnaby, you are tall,” Cinder said. “Pip, you can fly!” They needed to work together to reach the prize. It was time for a clever plan.
Barnaby the rabbit stood tall. Cinder climbed onto Barnaby’s soft shoulders. Then, little Pip flew up and pushed the box closer. With a brave stretch, Cinder grabbed the shiny box. Success! Inside was the Legendary Golden Crayon. It sparkled like a tiny star. Cinder felt so proud of his team. They did not give up, and they did it together.
Cinder did not keep the gold for himself. He took a giant piece of paper and drew a bright, happy sun. Then, he passed the crayon to Barnaby and Pip. Everyone added their own golden doodles. The classroom felt warm and happy. Sharing the treasure was the best part of the adventure. What a wonderful, golden day for a ninja fox!
